Ricky Martin
Ricky Martin, Founder and CEO of Hyper Recruitment Solutions, began his STEM career in 2003. He founded HRS in 2012 following his victory on BBC One’s The Apprentice.
As a distinguished biochemist and member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Ricky offers deep expertise in the Life Sciences sector. His leadership has established HRS as a pioneer in impactful recruitment solutions that change lives.
Ricky is also an investor and Non-Executive Director (NED) in RecTech and training companies, demonstrating his commitment to advancing and enabling emerging spaces. He chairs the REC (Recruitment & Employment Confederation) Life Science Committee and is a proud ambassador for Alzheimer’s, Jeans for Genes, and a patron of RSPCA Solent.
Lord Alan Sugar
Lord Alan Sugar, a distinguished entrepreneur and business leader, serves as Co-Founder and Executive Advisor of Hyper Recruitment Solutions. Known for his extensive experience and strategic insight, Lord Sugar provides invaluable guidance to our executive team.
In 2000, he was knighted for his services to business and holds two honorary Doctorates of Science degrees, awarded by City University and Brunel University respectively. Having previously sat on the Business Council for Britain and fronted a campaign promoting the benefits of apprenticeships, he was named the government’s Enterprise Champion in 2009 and appointed to the House of Lords as Baron Sugar of Clapton.
His philanthropic efforts include support for numerous charities, such as Great Ormond Street Hospital and Jewish Care. Lord Sugar’s involvement not only enhances our strategic direction but also reinforces our commitment to making a positive impact across the Life Sciences sector and beyond.
