Analytical Scientist

We are currently looking for a Analytical Protein Scientist to join a leading Biopharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Analytical Scientist you will be responsible for the comprehensive detailed characterisation of proteins to elucidate their structure, function and degradation pathways as well as understanding protein production processes.

Your duties as the Analytical Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will perform analysis of protein therapeutics using HPLC/UPLC, iCE

2. As the Analytical Scientist you will become familiar with analysis methods such as empower, 32 karat, chemstation.

3. You will keep accurate records and contribute to authorship of analytical aspects of regulatory submissions, technical procedures, protocols and reports.

4. As the Analytical Scientist you will research specific analytical protocols (literature) and keep aware of latest analytical techniques.

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Analytical Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree

2. 1 - 3 years laboratory experience (academic or industrial) using described methods above.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with HPLC and UPLC
