Controls Engineering Manager

Hyper Recruitment Solutions have partnered with a global leading combustion manufacture in the EU who are seeking a Controls Engineering Manager. The Controls Engineering Manager is responsible for leading their global team of controls engineers in the design, implementation, and maintenance of control systems for various industrial processes and automation projects

Your duties as the Controls Engineering Manager will be varied however the key duties & responsibilities are as follows:

1. Design PLC-based combustion control systems that conform to NFPA 86 requirements and customer technical and functionality specifications. Exposure to EN 746-2 and EN/ISO 13577 (new standard) and other international standards is a plus. Ensuring programs and panels are complete and tested prior to shipment including simulation of software.
2. Commissions control systems at customer sites as well as supporting field technicians while troubleshooting equipment when required
3. Develop a consistent control philosophy for systems, with defined features, functions, and benefits that differentiate Bloom. Expanding the feature set and capabilities of our product offering.
4. reate process control programs to analyze the furnace process and find opportunities for improvement.

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Controls Engineering Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile & past

1.BS Degree in engineering with an electrical/programming background.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Controls Engineer, including 2 years in a leadership role.
3. Knowledge of Allen Bradley and/or Siemens Safety PLC platforms and AutoCAD-Electrical. Experience in E Plan a plus.
4. Experienced in the development of PLC and HMI programs.
