Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Electronics Engineering Manager to join a leading electronics company based in the County Durham area. As the Electronics Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading the Electronics Engineering Team to help deliver our significant and growing project portfolio across multiple sectors in Electronics and provide solutions to complex technical problems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Electronics Engineering Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Lead design reviews for electronics and system designs, supporting innovative product development in the HealthTech and MedTech market space.

2. Act as line manager for all direct reports, conducting performance appraisals and implementing personal development planning for the team.

3. Serve as technical lead and/or project manager in relevant projects within the portfolio.

4. Provide specific technical support to the Business Development Team relating to proposal/project development and direct customer engagement.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Electronics Engineering Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Scientific/Engineering discipline (preferably in Electronics Engineering) or equivalent experience in Electronics Engineering.

2. Proven industry experience in the development and introduction of new products, ideally within HealthTech, MedTech or Medical Devices.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
