Mechanical Engineer

Hyper Recruitment Solutions have partner with an Industrial Automation Machine builder and integrator who are expanding their engineering teams. This will be providing leadership in the engineering department collaborating with others in projects & engineering design

Your duties as the Mechanical Engineer will be varied however the key duties & responsibilities are as follows:

1. Design molded, welded, stamped, machined & extruded components mainly in SolidWorks
2. Create 3D models, detailed drawings, assemblies & part files in SolidWorks
3. Collaborate on design reviews, specifications, & manuals to determine feasibility of design or application while adhering to project timing
4. Perform design verification & validation testing of new designs with the reliability engineering group
5. Mentor and assist associate mechanical engineers & technical staff in engineering prinicpials & procedures for product design, development, fabrication & testing

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Mechanical Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile & past history:

1. Ability to estimate automation systems & develop a cost model
2. Someone who’s done a lot of machine design – robots cells, customer automation, assembly, piping handling
3. Understanding & ensuring compliance with health & safety reg & quality standards – NFPA, NEC OSHA
