Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Technician to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area. This will be an initial 6 months but with likely extension.

As the Multi Skilled Technician you will be responsible for undertaking maintenance, calibration, repair, and continual development of equipment within the scope of the Engineering Department in line with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and practices.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Multi Skilled Technician will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Multi Skilled Technician you will swiftly attend to electro-mechanical faults, ensuring diagnosis and repairs align with production targets.

2. As the Multi Skilled Technician you will execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and refurbish offline machinery, maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

3. As the Multi Skilled Technician you will guarantee all manufacturing equipment operates within established Quality Control specifications, adhering to all statutory legislation and quality system requirements.

4. As the Multi Skilled Technician you will collaborate with Operational, Engineering, and Quality Control teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Multi Skilled Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. A qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering such as C&G, HND, or equivalent experience.

2. A robust engineering aptitude complemented by a sharp eye for innovative solutions.

3. Strong communication skills, process-driven approach, a proactive and self-motivated attitude with a keen awareness of safety protocols in a high-volume, automated manufacturing setting.
