Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Process Safety Engineer to join a leading speciality chemicals company based in the Cheshire area. As the Process Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical process safety expertise to support the promotion of, and engagement in, process and workplace safety, health, and environment (SHE).

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Process Safety Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to maintain safe and reliable operations.
2. Apply process safety knowledge and leadership skills to facilitate the delivery of site objectives.
3. Demonstrate practical application of relevant engineering codes and standards.
4. Provide monthly and quarterly updates on Process Safety KPIs.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Process Safety Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
2. Extensive industry experience in Process Engineering or Process Safety.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with safety studies (PSSR, Pressure Relief, Risk Assessments, Hazard Studies, LoPA, ALARP Demonstration, PUWER, DSEAR, etc.).
