Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Quality Control Analyst to join a leading biotech company based in the area. As the Quality Control Analyst you will be responsible for Conducting quality control analysis for company brand, by evaluating products resulting from intricate syntheses of biologically active library compounds and custom synthesis projects. This work supports both internal research efforts and the needs of external clients.






Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Quality Control Analyst will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Performing method development and validation using chromatographic techniques/instrumentation.

2. Perform quality control tests and conduct second-person verification of others work, depending on your experience and training. Techniques involved may include HPLC, GC, SFC, MS, NMR, FT-IR, UV/Vis, Fluorescence, Melting Point, Karl Fischer, Optical Rotation, and Solubility analysis.

3. Ensure a high standard of laboratory work, focusing on both practical output and thorough documentation, including adherence to GMP standards.

4. Prepare and manage stocks of reagents, solvents, chemicals, and consumables as needed.

Role Requirements

1. Relevant degree in a scientific background

2. Proven industry experience in quality control doing routine testing to GMP guidelines.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with method development and method validation.
