R&D Scientist

We are currently looking for a Molecular Modelling Scientist to join a leading biotechnology company based in the Berkshire area. As the Molecular Modelling Scientist, you will be responsible for developing innovative in silico solutions for protein purification.

Your duties as the Molecular Modelling Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Build coarse-grained molecular dynamics models for protein property prediction.
2. Develop algorithms and workflows for predicting protein-resin interaction behaviour.
3. Generate and manage in silico biophysical data to support prediction model development.
4. Analyse and interpret data, reporting results through presentations, data summaries, and reports.

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Molecular Modelling Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Working towards an MSc or MPhil/PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Bioengineering, or Chemical Engineering.
2. Proven industry experience in in silico modelling.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with structural biology, molecular biology, biophysics, and coarse-grain molecular dynamic simulation.
