Research Associate

We are currently looking for a Research Associate to join a leading biopharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Research Associate, you will be responsible for:

Your duties as the Research Associate will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Perform mRNA synthesis to support internal activities.
2. Conduct cell and molecular biology experiments.
3. Carry out data analysis and troubleshooting.
4. Assist in developing and implementing automated technologies for mRNA synthesis, purification, and transfection.

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Research Associate , we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, or related fields.
2. Proven industry experience in molecular biology techniques (PCR, qPCR, DNA/RNA purification etc.) and mammalian cell culture.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with nucleic acid therapies including ASO, siRNA, mRNA, CRISPR, or viral carriers.
