We are currently looking for 2x Project Engineering Lead to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Co Waterford area.
One Project Engineering Lead will be responsible for driving a multi-million Euro project focused on significant energy and carbon reduction targets. The second Project Engineering Lead will be responsible for general Infrastructure, including Automation and Systems related projects.
These are initial 12 month contracts with likely extension.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Project Engineering Lead will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Project Engineering Lead, you will deliver on Heat Pump Central Utilities Building and utilities upgrades, or general Infrastructure, including Automation and Systems related projects.
2. As the Project Engineering Lead, you will perform procurement, acceptance of equipment, and associated infrastructure, reporting regularly on project status throughout the project lifecycle.
3. As the Project Engineering Lead, you will ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety codes, practices, approved project KPIs, performance standards, and specifications.
4. As the Project Engineering Lead, you will liaise with external and internal customers, suppliers, and vendors to define and deliver right-first-time project deployment.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Project Engineering Lead, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or equivalent Engineering discipline.
2. Extensive industry experience in a Project Engineering / Project Management roles.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience within cGMP pharmaceutical environments. Candidates with either experience in Energy Saving or Automation upgrade projects would be an advantage.
