Automation Process Engineer

We are currently looking for an Automation Process Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Co. Waterford area. As the Automation Process Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the introduction of Automated Visual Inspection (AVI) activities for Pre-Filled Syringe products, ranging from manual processes to high-speed, high-volume AVI.

This is an initial 12 month contract with likely extension, offering 55-60€ per hour depending on experience.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Automated Visual Inspection Process Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Automation Process Engineer, you will develop and optimise new recipes for AVI machines for prefilled syringes.

2. As the Automation Process Engineer, you will support FAT SAT qualification and PQ activities for AVI.

3. As the Automation Process Engineer, you will evaluate and support vision system issues, liaising with vendors, global SMEs, and the Engineering group to ensure the AVI process has minimal false rejects.

4. As the Automation Process Engineer, you will collaborate with process experts and the quality group to ensure compliance of the AVI process with global standards and regulatory agency requirements.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Automated Visual Inspection Process Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a science or Engineering discipline.

2. Proven industry experience in a highly regulated GMP environment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Automated Visual Inspection and visual inspection standards.
