We are currently looking for a Process Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Co. Waterford area. As the Process Engineer, you will be responsible for providing Process Engineering support to existing business functions and continuous improvement of pre-filled syringe processes. You will support the manufacturing of monoclonal antibody (mAb) commercial products, technology transfer of new products, and the introduction of capacity enablers, working as part of a highly focused and integrated Engineering Team in a Sterile Manufacturing environment.
This is an initial 12 month contract with likely extension, offering 55-60€ per hour depending on experience.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Process Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Acting as Process Engineer for projects/programs associated with pre-filled syringe operations, including filter test development, fill weight cycle development, and cleaning verification.
2. Leading problem-solving investigations for technical issues, owning change controls, and delivering activities on schedule and within budget.
3. Supporting day-to-day operations of the syringe filling area through investigations, identifying and delivering corrective actions, and executing continuous improvement projects.
4. Writing Process/Operational Control Strategy documents, coordinating and owning deliverables to meet project timelines and costs, and generating hour-by-hour schedules for planning line time and execution of deliverables.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Process Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in an Engineering discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in a highly regulated GMP environment.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with sterile manufacturing operations and syringe filling.
