Medical Information Specialist

We are currently looking for a Medical Information Specialist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Surrey area. As the Medical Information Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical and medical information to Healthcare Professionals and patients/caregivers, as well as dealing with inquiries via multiple channels including (but not limited to) phone, email, webform and/or live chat.

Please note this is an initial 6 month contract with likely extension. The role can offer 2-3 days per week of remote working.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Medical Information Customer Experience Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Research and respond to inquiries received via multiple channels including phone, email, webform, live chat, or postal mail, within the required timelines and standards.

2. Document inquiries and responses accurately and completely according to relevant Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and regulatory guidelines.

3. Identify and report adverse events and product quality complaints within required timelines.

4. Provide responses in the customer’s local language using approved resources in English.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Medical Information Customer Experience Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Pharmacy, Scientific or related field.

2. Proven industry experience in medical information.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with customer service.
