Financial Reporting Specialist
14339Contract£20 - £24.62 Per HourLondon - United Kingdom
We are currently looking for a Financial Reporting Specialist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of financial reporting processes on a global scale.
This is an initial 12 month contract, with opportunity to become permanent thereafter.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Financial Reporting Specialist will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be standardising processes to ensure consistency across all financial reporting activities.
2. As the Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be continuously identifying and implementing improvements to streamline R2R processes. This can include implementing Automation which can help with streamlining of processes.
3. As the Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls.
4. As the Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be collaborating with various stakeholders globally to ensure alignment and effective communication.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Financial Reporting Specialist , we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in finance or a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in financial process improvement and a qualified accountant.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with IFRS 16 lease accounting, SAP, and advanced data analytics.
