ROLE OVERVIEW
A leading company in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking a Senior Commissioning and Qualification (C&Q) Specialist to join their team in the Brussels area. As the Senior C&Q Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the C&Q portion of the project, ensuring all activities are completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with system requirements, specifications, and project procedures.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior C&Q Specialist will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Draft or support the drafting of C&Q documents, coordinate reviews, and obtain approvals following the approved VMP and SLIA.
2. Act as the C&Q Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance and managing suppliers and all C&Q activities from design to field execution and summary report approval.
3. Drive verification testing, protocol execution, system drawings verification, design and operational testing, and troubleshoot as needed. Conduct deviation investigations and resolve issues encountered during field execution.
4. Plan, track, and report C&Q status, risks, and issues for the selected systems, taking corrective actions to ensure deadlines and milestones are achieved.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior C&Q Specialist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related field.
2. Extensive industry experience in commissioning and qualification of process equipment.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with systems such as 50L Rocker Bioreactor, 200L/500L Single Use Bioreactor (SUB), Transfection, Depth Filtration System (Harvest), and Single Use Mixers (SUMs).
