We are currently looking for a Dutch speaking Payroll Specialist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company. As the Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely payment of salaries to employees across the EMEA region, with the main focus being Belgium. This role offers the chance to engage in various payroll projects and support multiple sites across EMEA and requires a Dutch speaker.
This is an initial 6 month contract with possible extension.
Ideally the candidate will be based in Manchester (2 days in office, 3 from home), but for an exceptional candidate the role can offer remote working with 1 day in Manchester office per month.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Payroll Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Payroll Specialist, you will process payroll for employees in Belgium and across the EMEA region, managing relationships with third-party providers as needed.
2. As the Payroll Specialist, you will perform payroll-related functions under country and local laws, including processing new hires, terminations, compensation & benefits, overtime, deductions, and attachment orders.
3. As the Payroll Specialist, you will engage in project-related activities when required, including legislative changes such as Indexation, CAO90 bonuses, meal vouchers, and Purchasing Power Bonus.
4. As the Payroll Specialist, you will collect payroll and benefit information from various sources, providing monthly payroll instructions to the payroll provider in accordance with the calendar.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the EMEA Payroll Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related field with experience in managing Belgian payroll (Circa 500 headcount).
2. Proven industry experience in managing payroll projects and you must speak fluent Flemish / Dutch.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Time & Attendance systems, preferably Pro-time.
