Operational Excellence Professional

An exciting position awaits for an Operational Excellence Professional to join a leading organisation in the Pharmaceutical sector, based in the Manchester area. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with two days onsite and three from home, and is a contract until December 2025. As an Operational Excellence Professional, you will be instrumental in driving process efficiency and effectiveness across various geographies and business units.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Operational Excellence Professional will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As an Operational Excellence Professional, you will act as a key member for global and high-impact strategic projects driven by the Global Process Owner organisation.

2. As an Operational Excellence Professional, you will influence and work across functions with the Finance organisation on the End-to-End Record to Report process through effective stakeholder management.

3. As an Operational Excellence Professional, you will identify and support process re-engineering and continuous improvement initiatives in Record to Report processes in the respective Shared Service Centre.

4. As an Operational Excellence Professional, you will drive a culture of continuous improvement through best practice sharing and visible hands-on leadership.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Operational Excellence Professional we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

2. Extensive industry experience in finance and accounting with a strong focus on financial closing, reporting, and reconciliation.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with SAP and process optimisation tools.
