Accounts Payable Supervisor

Our client is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Manchester area. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with 2 days onsite and 3 days from home, and is available until December 2025. 

As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading your team in providing timely, accurate, and compliant purchase-to-pay services while identifying opportunities for process alignment and improvement.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Accounts Payable Supervisor will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will provide timely, accurate, and compliant accounts payable services within defined SLAs.

2. As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will serve as the first point of contact for the AP manager to investigate and initiate queries with suppliers and internal purchasing departments.

3. As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will define team priorities, coordinate the team to ensure task completion, and monitor team KPIs to support achievement.

4. As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will supervise, improve, and streamline AP processes, including automation, with a continuous improvement mindset.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Accounts Payable Supervisor, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field.

2. Extensive industry experience in finance, particularly in accounts payable.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with SAP; experience with Invoicetrack is advantageous but not required.
