A leading company in the Pharmaceutical Industry is seeking a Senior SAR Analyst to join their team based in the Manchester area. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to work two days onsite and three days from home. The position is available until December 2025.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior SAR Analyst will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Senior SAR Analyst you will provide financial advice and support to department leads, understanding cost drivers and offering insights to non-finance members.
2. As the Senior SAR Analyst you will ensure the timeliness and accuracy of month-end close activities, including accruals, reclassifications, and FTE assignments.
3. As the Senior SAR Analyst you will plan costs and FTEs at the cost center level during Outlook and Budget cycles, and manage Capex controlling activities.
4. As the Senior SAR Analyst you will analyse financial information for errors and trends, support year-end and internal audits, and assist with M&A and divestment projects.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior SAR Analyst, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another relevant major.
2. Extensive industry experience in finance, with a strong background in analytical and project management skills.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI.
