Analytical Scientist

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for an Analytical Scientist to join a leading contract research organisation focused on delivering biopharmaceutics and dissolution strategies, based in the Sandwich, Kent area. As the Analytical Scientist, you will be responsible for generating quality analytical data to support the evaluation of drug product performance.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Analytical Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Sample analysis using HPLC/UPLC and spectroscopic methods.

2. Conducting dissolution studies using USP I, USP II, USP III, USP IV.

3. Chromatographic method development.

4. Generation of quality analytical data, recording data in an electronic laboratory notebook, summarising and interpreting results, and drawing relevant conclusions.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Analytical Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or equivalent.

2. Proven industry experience in pharmaceutical development.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with analytical laboratory techniques.
