Associate Director, Medical Affairs - Ophthalmology

ROLE OVERVIEW

An exciting role awaits an experienced Associate Director Medical Affairs to join a leading company in the Ophthalmology industry based in the London area. As the Associate Director Medical Affairs, you will be at the forefront of medical strategy and operations, ensuring the highest standards in medical affairs activities.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Associate Director Medical Affairs will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Lead and develop medical strategies and plans in alignment with the company's objectives within the Ophthalmology sector.

2. Oversee the execution of medical affairs activities, including clinical trials, medical communications, and regulatory submissions.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of medical insights into commercial strategies.

4. Provide scientific and medical expertise to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Associate Director Medical Affairs we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a medical or scientific discipline.

2. Extensive industry experience in medical affairs, specifically within the Ophthalmology sector.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with clinical trial management, medical communications, and regulatory processes.
