Automation / EC&I Engineer

We are currently looking for an Automation Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the South East of England. As the Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for supporing a new control systems upgrade.

This is an initial 12 month contract with possible extension. Competitve rates are on offer.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Automation Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Automation Engineer, you will develop, implement, and review control systems to optimise manufacturing processes.

2. As the Automation Engineer, you will troubleshoot and resolve projected issues with automated equipment to minimise future downtime.

3. As the Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and reliability.

4. As the Automation Engineer, you will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all automation activities.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Automation Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a related field such as Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Control Systems.

2. Proven industry experience in automation within a manufacturing environment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI development (Ideally Siemens based).
