We are currently looking for a “Automation Engineer” to join a leading technology company based in Marlborough MA. As the Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration and functionality of various software and hardware systems within the project scope.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Systems Integration Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Generate comprehensive project documentation for requirements and testing.
2. Deploy and customize existing software library elements to meet specific project requirements.
3. Conduct engineering tests and protocol shakedown to ensure system integrity.
4. Perform formal verification testing and troubleshoot issues related to process equipment hardware and software.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Systems Integration Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related field.
2. Extensive industry experience with OSI PI Historian, PI Vision, and PI Connectors.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with UA Expert, OPC UA, OPC DA, and OPC AE Simulators, as well as SQL Database Queries.
