Automation Service Engineer

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties as the Automation Service Engineer will be varied however the key duties & responsibilities are as follows:

 

  • Responsible for on-site engineering across commissioning, validation, troubleshooting & training on controls systems.
  • Modify & De-bug PLC systems across Allen Bradley
  • Mainly working on start-up & commissioning projects across the East Coast
  • Hands on experience with installation of controls equipment across PLC (Allen Bradley) & SCADA (Wonderware)
  • Working on cGMP’s procedures on control system development & modifications.
  • Reading control system design documents. (P&ID, control system schematics, wiring drawings, pneumatic/hydraulic drawings, etc.)
  • Troubleshooting & configuration - PLCs & HMIs at customer sites

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Automation Service Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile & past history:

  • BS - Relevant Engineering Degree
  • Ability to troubleshoot, develop, test, & commission PLC & SCADA systems
  • Ideally worked in GMP environments but not essential
  • Happy to travel 60%+ to customer sites
