Biostatistician

ROLE OVERVIEW

A leading company in the healthcare industry based in the London area is seeking a Freelance Biostatistician to join their team on a 0.5 FTE basis. This role offers the flexibility of freelance work, allowing you to manage your own schedule while contributing to groundbreaking research in Ophthalmology. As a Freelance Biostatistician, you will play a pivotal role in analysing and interpreting complex data to support clinical trials and research projects.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Freelance Biostatistician will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Design and analyse clinical trials and observational studies in Ophthalmology.
2. Develop statistical methodologies and models to interpret complex data sets.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
4. Prepare detailed statistical reports and present findings to stakeholders.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Freelance Biostatistician, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in biostatistics, particularly within Ophthalmology.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with statistical software such as SAS or R.
