Business Operations Manager

We are currently looking for an “Operations Manager” to join a leading consultancy business delivering CQV (Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation) services to the biopharmaceutical industry, based in the UK with flexible working options and occasional travel.
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of the business.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Operations Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while managing cash flow, invoicing, and expense tracking.
2. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, manage recruitment, onboarding, and training processes, and ensure compliance with UK employment laws.
3. Ensure the business complies with relevant UK and international regulations, oversee quality assurance and risk management processes, and maintain company policies.
4. Streamline business processes to improve productivity and customer satisfaction, implement and manage business systems, and collaborate with senior leadership to align operations with strategic goals.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Operations Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
.2. Proven industry experience in operations management, ideally within a consultancy or biopharmaceutical setting.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with financial management, HR practices, compliance, quality assurance, and governance frameworks.
