Data Scientist

We are currently looking for a Data Scientist to join a leading technology company based in Sacramento, California, United States. As the Data Scientist, you will be responsible for working on mid to large-scale data analysis projects across various domains such as development science and algorithm development.

 

This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will develop custom data analysis tools and implement data science techniques for analysing and transforming data. Your work will contribute to building solutions that have the potential to transform people’s lives. You will collaborate with development science, clinical affairs, and algorithm development partner teams on the development, validation, and verification of various data analysis tools.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Data Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Design data collection strategies and develop data analysis tools.

2. Automate reports and integrate various tools into the existing data pipeline.

3. Work with development science, clinical affairs, and algorithm development teams.

4. Validate and verify data analysis tools.

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Data Scientist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Microbiology, or a related field.

2. Extensive industry experience in developing and validating large-scale data analysis tools.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Python, signal processing, timeseries, and statistical analysis.
