Director of Business Development

We are currently looking for a “Director of Business Development” to join a leading Drug Development company based in the West Coast, California area. As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving growth and forging strategic partnerships within the CRO, Drug Development, AI, and SAAS sectors.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Director of Business Development will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the CRO, Drug Development, AI, and SAAS markets.
2. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders.
4. Lead negotiations and close high-value deals that align with the company's growth objectives.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting position as the Director of Business Development, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a scientific or business-related field.
2. Extensive industry experience in business development within the CRO, Drug Development, AI, or SAAS sectors.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with strategic planning, market analysis, and deal negotiation.
