H&S Lead

We are currently looking for a H&S Lead to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the South East. As the H&S Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety compliance across all project activities.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the H&S Lead will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:


1. As the H&S Lead, you will oversee site supervision of contractors during commissioning activities, including permit issuing and compliance with method statements and risk assessments.


2. As the H&S Lead, you will develop and maintain integration health and safety documentation, such as risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work (SSoW), and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) assessments.


3. As the H&S Lead, you will identify and manage site risks as they arise, ensuring a proactive approach to health and safety.


4. As the H&S Lead, you will support the full integration of safety panels within the workplace, promoting a culture of safety.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:


To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the H&S Lead, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:


1. Relevant degree in a health and safety or related field.


2. Proven industry experience in health and safety compliance and integration.


3. A working knowledge and practical experience with risk assessments, SSoW, and COSHH.
