IT Software Engineer

We are currently looking for an “IT Engineer - Software (Entry Level)” to join a leading global life sciences and diagnostics innovator based in the Bellevue, WA area. As the IT Engineer - Software, you will be responsible for developing and supporting software solutions in a dynamic and innovative environment.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the IT Engineer - Software will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Develop .NET WPF/WCF software used in the image acquisition and post-processing steps of biological fluorescent imaging workflows.

2. Support existing code by fixing defects and seeking opportunities to refactor and optimize.

3. Engage in tech debt discussions and implementation.

4. Work with image acquisition systems, including capture, manipulation, and optimization of image data.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the IT Engineer - Software we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Computer Science or a STEM field.

2. Proven industry experience in software development, particularly with .NET, .NET Core, C, Visual Studio.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with WCF, WPF, MVVM, MEF.
