We are currently looking for a Lab Services Specialist to join a leading life sciences company based in the Cambridge area. As the Vendor Chaperone, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations across three buildings, acting as a crucial liaison between scientists, service providers, and LET engineers.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Lab Services Specialist will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Collection of vendors and delivery to final locations, ensuring completion of work order activities within the department with excellent service and compliance.
2. Assist the LET Team with tasks such as freezer transfers, speed vacs, and HPLC waste management.
3. Accountable for equipment stock and inventory management using a Kanban approach.
4. Participate in laboratory inspections and take responsibility for the delivery of follow-on actions.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Vendor Chaperone, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in a GMP environment.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with laboratory equipment and inventory management.
