Manufacturing Shift Leader

An exciting role awaits a highly motivated individual to lead a Manufacturing Shift Team in a dynamic manufacturing operation at the site in Norfolk. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact by ensuring the manufacturing plans are achieved efficiently and safely, producing bulk products that comply with GMP requirements.

As the Manufacturing Shift Team Leader, you will be at the forefront of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement within the team. This role reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager and deputises for the Manufacturing Coordinator in their absence.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Your duties as the Manufacturing Shift Team Leader will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Run the manufacturing shift and manage the shift team.
2. Lead by example in timekeeping, work ethic, H&S, and GMP standards, ensuring the shift team maintains these standards.
3. Ensure bulks are produced to meet plans, quality standards, and company procedures.
4. Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures on the shift.

Role Requirements:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Manufacturing Shift Team Leader, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in supervising and leading a team within a production/manufacturing environment.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar, including key problem-solving or improvement tools (e.g., DMAIC, Kaizen).
