Process Automation Lead

A leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Walloon Region, Belgoum is seeking an experienced Process Automation Lead to join their team. As the Process Automation Lead you will work on cutting-edge biological manufacturing projects, providing a platform to showcase your expertise and drive impactful results.

This is a mission until the end of 2026 and for an experienced candidate, can offer 90-95 euro per hour, 40 hours per week. This is a hybrid mission (2-3 days per week)


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Process Automation Lead will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Process Automation Lead you will lead Automation SME topics, including the development of Fit For Purpose Automation strategies.

2. As the Process Automation Lead you will translate Automation functional specifications to process SMEs, ensuring all requirements are met.

3. As the Process Automation Lead you will oversee detailed design, equipment installation, and commissioning, ensuring alignment with project planning and budget.

4. As the Process Automation Lead you will support qualification and validation activities, ensuring compliance with cGMP/GLP regulations and other relevant guidelines.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Process Automation Lead we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Engineering or a related field.

2. Extensive industry experience in pharmaceutical projects, particularly in Automation for Biological processes.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with DCS systems, specifically Siemens PCS7.
