Project Engineering Lead

We are currently recruiting a Project Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Co Waterford area. As the Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering a diverse project portfolio within a variety of biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations, including biologics, oral dosage, medical device laboratories and packaging operations.

This is an initial 12 month contract with likely extension.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Project Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Project Engineer, you will deliver on process, packaging, and biopharmaceutical equipment project portfolios, ensuring adherence to project schedules, costs, quality, and scope from conception to completion.

2. As the Project Engineer, you will perform procurement, acceptance of equipment, and associated infrastructure, reporting regularly on project status throughout the lifecycle.

3. As the Project Engineer, you will ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety codes, approved project KPIs, performance standards, and specifications.

4. As the Project Engineer, you will liaise with external and internal customers, suppliers, and vendors to define and deliver right-first-time project deployment.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Project Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or equivalent Engineering discipline.

2. Extensive industry experience in Project Engineering roles within the Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology Industries.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with cGMP pharmaceutical environments.
