

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector to join a leading Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (H&I) Laboratory based in the UK. As the QA Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the laboratory meets the highest standards of quality and compliance ahead of an upcoming inspection.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the QA Inspector will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Working closely with the Quality Management System (QMS) and Q-Pulse to maintain compliance with UKAS and ISO 15189 standards.
2. Identifying potential risks for the upcoming inspection and proposing effective solutions.
3. Conducting mock audits and pre-audit work to prepare the laboratory for the inspection on 12th June.
4. Providing expert guidance and support to the team to ensure all quality assurance measures are met.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the QA Inspector, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a scientific or quality assurance discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in a clinical laboratory setting, particularly within Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (H&I), UKAS.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with QMS and Q-Pulse.
This role provides flexibility in terms of working arrangements, whether you prefer two full-time weeks or multiple weeks of part-time work. While the role is mostly remote, there will be some need to come to the site for mock audits and other critical tasks.
