Senior Risk Management Lead

We are recruiting a Senior Risk Management Lead to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the London/Surrey border. As the Senior Risk Management Lead, you will be responsible for providing strategic expertise to product teams and driving the execution of Risk Management activities included within Risk Management Plans (RMP) across business units to enhance patient safety and Pharmacovigilance (PV) activities.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Senior Risk Management Lead will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Senior Risk Management Lead, you will develop and implement best practices in risk management planning, including risk communication, risk minimisation, and benefit/risk assessment methodologies.

2. As the Senior Risk Management Lead, you will serve as the key interface between Risk Management and the Business Unit in matters related to the oversight of implementation and tracking of commitments included within the RMP.

3. As the Senior Risk Management Lead, you will provide regular reporting on all aspects of RMP milestones and performance per specific targets defined by key performance indicators (KPIs) and regulatory commitments.

4. As the Senior Risk Management Lead, you will manage supplier performance and communications, ensuring timely and effective delivery relative to defined and agreed-upon statements of work (SOW).


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Risk Management Lead, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in health science, with an advanced degree preferred (Pharm.D, Ph.D, or equivalents).

2. Extensive industry experience in medical, clinical, or pharmacovigilance (PV) with a clear focus on drug safety risk management.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with global safety regulations and guidelines, as well as generating Risk Management Plans.
