Senior Service Desk Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking an IT Helpdesk Consultant to join a innovative player in health care insurance based in Belgium. As an IT Helpdesk Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team and ensuring smooth operations across various locations.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the IT Helpdesk Consultant will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Roll out Windows 11: manage appointments with users, prepare laptops for delivery, handle delivery and recycling.

2. Travel to external offices in Belgium for the Windows 11 roll out.

3. Serve as the contact person for local IT issues in Gent and Anderlecht.

4. Manage helpdesk tickets using ASK from Atlassian and oversee stock management, primarily laptops.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the IT Helpdesk Consultant we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a technical field or advanced coursework in technical systems.

2. Proven industry experience in IT helpdesk support.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Windows 10 & 11, Active Directory, Exchange, Print Management, Ticketing, and Stock Management.
