Steriliser Process Engineer

Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Steriliser Process Engineer to join a leading medical technology company based in the Devon area. 

As the Steriliser Process Engineer you will be reporting to the Warehouse & Sterilisation leader and working as part of the sterilisation engineering team, the Process Engineer will be responsible for all engineering activities for the group and will report to the Warehouse & Sterilisation leader on the status of all engineering activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Steriliser Process Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Ensure that all steriliser and autoclave equipment and services are operated and maintained safely in compliance with appropriate technical guidelines.
2. Minimises' downtime caused through failure plant and equipment. Responds to call-outs and takes emergency action to ensure minimal interruption.
3. Keeps Leader informed of all activities, responsible for equipment/plant performance and reporting the status maintains records and suggesting improvements to processes and equipment.
4. Ascertain opportunities for waste reductions and drive actions to completion.


Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Steriliser Process Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Engineering/Mechatronics or a similar field.
2. Engineering experience in a high volume environment ideally within a medical device manufacturing facility is crucial together with required control engineering experience.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with high-speed automated assembly and packaging equipment.
