Validation & Verification R&D Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW

A leading company in the cell therapy industry is seeking a Verification and Validation R&D Engineer – Contingent Worker to join their team in Marlborough, Results Way. As a Verification and Validation R&D Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advancing new product releases that propel cell therapy forward.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Verification and Validation R&D Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Lead and execute Verification and Validation (V&V) activities for disposable kit development.
2. Define test plans, methodology, test equipment, and resources to support design Verification and Validation activities.
3. Develop best practice guidelines for performing disposables kit Verification & Validation activities and champion standardization within the R&D team.
4. Perform and document technical root cause investigations in collaboration with R&D hardware, software, application, manufacturing, biology, and disposable kit system matter experts (SMEs).

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Verification and Validation R&D Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a related engineering or scientific field (mechanics, micro-mechanics, materials...).
2. Extensive industry experience in designing, developing, and manufacturing plastic disposable kit products for a regulated industry (e.g., medical device).
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with verification activities related to disposable kits for medical device applications.
