We are currently looking for a Medical Affairs Manager to join a global Pharmaceutical company in the UK on a remote basis. As the Medical Affairs Manager, you will operate within the Rare Haematology Team, providing medical advice to healthcare professionals/professional bodies through relevant scientific communications.
This is an initial 6 month contract and offers fully remote working.
Depending on experience, this position can be offered as a Medical Affairs Associate, Medical Affairs Manager or Senior Medical Affairs Manager level, paying up to a maximum of £100,000 p/a (Pro rata).
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Medical Affairs Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- As the Medical Affairs Manager, you will have strong experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry and/or have worked in the UK National Health Service (NHS).
- As the Medical Affairs Manager, you will offer specialist medical, scientific, and Code compliance advice to internal teams to promote the appropriate use of medicines and successful implementation of initiatives and programs.
- As the Medical Affairs Manager, you will build and develop enduring external relationships, facilitating a medical and scientific bridge between the company and the healthcare community.
- As the Medical Affairs Manager, you will deliver the medical plan in relation to medical projects, Investigator Sponsored Research, and assistance for sponsored clinical research.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Medical Affairs Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- Relevant degree in a Medical or Pharmacy related discipline, ideally with a GMC and licence to practice. Doctors registered outside the UK may be considered, for example if they have significant pharmaceutical industry exposure and/or have worked in the UK National Health Service (NHS)
- Proven industry experience in Medical Affairs.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with clinical research, scientific communications, and healthcare regulations.
